I offer digital consultations via Skype/Zoom, where you get the truly indulgent experience of working with me from the comfort of your own home or office.
Digital consultations provide freedom and flexibility. This works wonderfully for those who are time poor, are travelling, have children, or simply feel more comfortable chatting from their own space. You don’t have to worry about parking, traffic, tolls, or public transport. Working in the online space allows for greater connectivity – so we can work together no matter where you are within Australia or New Zealand.
Digital consultations can be incredibly potent, and patients often find that the comfort associated with being in their own space allows them to speak with greater freedom and confidence.
All treatment notes are sent to you via email; and bespoke herbal preparations and nutritional medicines are prescribed by me and sent to you via a trusted online dispensing service. Similar to face-to-face consultations, functional test kits (where required) are shipped directly to you along with a pre-paid envelope for you to send samples back to the lab.

We begin our journey with an initial 90-minute session; where we will delve deeply into your health concerns. I want to find out all about you! We will review your overall health picture, any current or previous diagnoses, your family history, any recent pathology as well as your current dietary, lifestyle and self-care habits. We will also have an in depth discussion about your goals and how you want to feel during our work together.
We will then craft your initial treatment plan that supports your health goals. We may refer off for testing. Our first treatment plan will focus on food as medicine; lifestyle advice and self care tweaks. Herbal or nutritional medicines may be prescribed if initially indicated.
This is where the magic happens! Between sessions I will work on joining the dots for you. Based on the findings of any testing and my assessment of all of your health information, we can really determine root causes of what might be driving your current health picture. We will reassess your goals and our initial treatment plan to manage and work through our findings. We will refine your treatment plan with really specific, personalised dietary advice, coupled with tailored herbal and nutritional medicines. We will also plan your ongoing care consultations.
During ongoing care consultations we will catch up and review your progress. Together, we will revel in what is working, and readjust what is not. Your treatment plan is constantly evolving to accommodate you, your symptoms and your lifestyle. Each session we will reassess your goals and ensure we are on the right track. These sessions are all about you reaching your goal. .
Referring off for testing eliminates any guess work and helps us get to the bottom of what might be driving your current symptom picture. We can use these results . to hone in and personalise your treatment. This fusion of cutting edge technology with traditional naturopathic principles is truely magical.
We have access to a whole host of tests – here is a taste of what we use most commonly in clinic:
The GI Map is a stool test offering a comprehensive look into the gut microbiome. It uses cutting edge DNA/qPCR technology to both qualify and quantify various GI pathogens, parasites, opportunistic bacteria, fungi and viruses, as well as our beneficial bacteria. It also gives us a detailed insight into the structure and integrity of the gut – providing functional markers of inflammation, immune status, pancreatic output, and potential intestinal permeability. This is great for those with digestive dysfunction (constipation, diarrhoea, bloating, gas, pain, IBS, IBD), as well as immune dysfunction, allergies, fatigue, and some mental health conditions.
The SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) breath test measures the presence of bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine. This is often indicated for those who experience bloating, gas or pain quickly after eating, those with upper digestive complaints or chronic/treatment resistant digestive issues. It can be used as a standalone test or combined with the GI Map for the most complete analysis of digestive health.
The DUTCH (dried urine test for comprehensive hormones) provides a comprehensive assessment of sex and adrenal hormones and their metabolites, as well as cortisol, nutritional organic acids, neurotransmitter metabolites, and melatonin. It is great for addressing underlying reasons for hormone and fertility challenges, fatigue and sleep issues, mental health concerns and managing menopause.
The organic acids test (OAT) provides a comprehensive snap shot of overall health with over 70 markers. It provides a measure of intestinal yeast and bacteria, vitamin and mineral levels, neurotransmitter levels, oxidative stress and oxalate levels. It is particularly helpful in mental health, behaviour disorders, gut dysfunction, fatigue, and immune dysfunction.
DNA Testing looks at variations on genes and proteins (called single nucleotide polymorphisms/SNPs), and provides information as to how these variations may influence health outcomes. The sample is obtained via a simple buccal swap, and the lab provides an in-depth, evidence based report. Using this information we can determine how your current diet and lifestyle might be influencing your genes, and therefore personalise your diet and lifestyle based on your genetic profile. There are a number of profiles available – mood and cognition, hormones and fertility, methylation, nutrigenomics, detoxification and general wellbeing (a combination of all of available profiles).
So much can be gleaned from standard blood testing, and as a naturopath I have been trained in reading between the lines as well as between the reference ranges. This can be referred via your GP or privately.
Food intolerance testing, cortisol and adrenal profiling, sleep profile, amino acids testing, histamine metabolism profiling, and more…
